strickland got steals, but i never thought him a good defender.

come crunch time in the playoffs when you need a guy to stay in front of his opponent, i'd go with parker without hesitation.

I'll say this about Rod Strickland, he was one of the best rebounders and one of the best finishers there has ever been, from the PG position. His rebounding prowess would rank right there with the likes of Jason Kidd and Fat Lever. He was probably the better passer of the two, as well.

Meanwhile, Parker is unquestionably the better shooter and scorer. Plus he's got better footwork and better moves in which to get into the paint and to the rim.
