I've had this kid on my radar for some time, but always had some other players of this international class ranked higher as possible Spurs picks. well, some performances of this season, but especially this weeks Euroleague game of Real against Barcelona I watched, changed my mind.
if this guy is on the board at the Warriors pick (currently #35), the Spurs should pick him. Llull not only has a great name, he is fantastic and for whatever reason still far under the radar. (DX has him at #43, nbadraft doesn't even have him listed)
for all, who think we don't need to draft another combo guard (yes, you are right) just watch this video and think about who this guy reminds you:

(this is a recap video of a Spanish league game of Real Madrid. Llull plays with the #23. see what he does, especially at about 1:00 min of the video)

Rubio > Sergio

A projected top 3 pick is better than a projected 43rd pick? Man, ya don't say.

Indeed a very decent player. Has the potential. On a side note: his name in dutch means Sergio Cock.:toast

Llull has a great potential, huge scoring and dribbling ability, but he has to improve in aspects like D.
He's a bit undersized as well.

Great name indeed. When he checks into games, the TV announcers will be surely be saying, "There's a Llull in the action."

Thanks for the info, mountainballer.

There's something about his jump shot that reminds me of Drazen Petrovic.

undersized for a SG, yes. for a PG he has very nice size IMO.

If the Griz draft him, we'll never hear the end of it.

Matias is from my city. I know his family. Decent player, but not NBA material.
He canīt even get minutes in Tau.
Still young though (18/19?)

He has to improve his ball handling to be a decent PG.

Ah, and /yuy/ or /yull/ are the most correct pronunciation.

(Llull>>>>>Nocedal IMO)
