The Lakers were in the middle of their 3peat when the Spurs drafted Parker. They had Tim and David and that was basically it. They had pretty much a complete roster overhaul between 1999 and 2003.

Paul is a great player, but do not discount all the other moves the Hornets made, like West, Chandler, Peja, Pargo, Posey, Brown, etc...

As far as the rap album goes....it is in French. I dont know if it is good or bad. But he did make it. He sold albums I am sure. I mean if Hassellhoff can sell albums, so can Tony. It doesn't matter if his music is garbage or not.....at least he was able to make an album, express himself artistically, and make some money off it. I think Shaq's music was garbage, but at least he made the music and made some money off it.
