I wish Timmy played with that kind of emotion still. It comes at different moments but wouldn't it be nice to see it against Boston coming soon?

Timmy has been playing very emotional this year. More so then i have seen him play in the regular season.

Top ten game for Duncan for sure.....look at those stats. His team didnt show up to play and 5-0 got ejected and he just put his team on his back and dominated the last 2 minutes offensively and defensively.

it's a shame that some people forget how dominant Tim was from '99 until 2004-ish..he was still the best player in the NBA in 2005, and was still top 5 from 2006 until now(6th at worst), but Timmy was just absolutely dominant at his peak..he was often overshadowed by Shaq, but that's nothing to be mad about, since Shaq is a top 10 player of all-time as well(like Tim)..

more than anything though..I appreciate that even at 32, he's still putting in work as a top tier player in the NBA..you can't ask for more..

Tim was overwhelming, unstoppable as a young man. :)

Anyone remember the extent of Tim's knee injury that year? I can't remember as I usually tune out when a key player gets injured...too depressing. I just remember saying to myself, "Well, no repeat." I think the Spurs would've had a good chance. The Lakers were pushed to 7 by the Jailblazer team the Spurs swept a year before.

Found it:

Wonder if he would've been even better if not for that injury.

Dude thanks for posting that clip. Love, love, love my SPURS and this game was so f@cking cool cause of big dave response to the bullsh*t foul. This game always makes its way into a night of drinking a SPURS conversation. Awesome clip bro, thanks for posting it.
Tim Duncan the alpha and omega of the San Antonio SPURS.

I thought Tim moved pretty well facing the basket until after the 04 season or so. I have some vids of games from the next season after the injury ('01) against Dallas where he was lining his defenders up and driving right past them every time down the floor. I don't think the meniscus injury did any long-term damage to Tim's face-up game.
