I went to google and typed "mark cuban sucks", "mark cuban bitch", and "mark cuban asshole". I don't remember which one brought up spurstalk as a result but i clicked and was in a thread obviously about cuban. This was all back when I had a passionate hatred for the mavs organization. Now I just kinda pity them.

I have been a member of mavsfriend.com for years but this forum really sucks compared to clutchfans. I felt pretty frustrated for a while after clutch banned me, until I found spurstalk which is way better than clutchfans.

You've got to be banned if you say a dirty word on clutchfans, or say something against the rockets team, like "rockets suck". but you'll never be banned even if you abuse the spurs directly, as Spork KIller always does. I hope spurstalk is gonna become the largest forum after our IPs are all banned by other forums.

Then in the fall I went with my son's Cub Scout troop to see the Spurs vs. Suns and I was hooked! I was a spursreport addict (found it through woai's website where I went to read news), it was very big, lots of activity and I thought it was great. Then they went down for a period of a few weeks at the time when WOAI was taking over the administration of the site. I got tired of going to the site and finding it was still not up. Going through withdrawals I started googling to see if another such Spurs forum existed, and found Spurstalk. At the time they were about 50-50 in traffic but slowly over the years I have found that the traffic has shifted to about 80-20 in ST's favor. I remember at the time thinking it was funny because someone was cheering about how Tim Duncan was doing so well and made a post that said *****! *****! Then his next post was "why does it blank it out when I type T I M V P?" Then I asked the same question. One of the Admins said it was because there was someone from "another forum" that has that name who comes over and causes a lot of trouble. I remember thinking it was a bit strange.

I used to be a member of several roller coaster forums during my theme park obsession so when I got really into the Spurs, after a while I searched for "Spurs messageboards" and came up with this one and Spursreport. That was in the early fall of '04 I believe. One of the first threads I read on here was one where mouse was being a total smartass to Kori and was saying something about the Dallas Mavericks :lol I lurked at both sites for a while and then I eventually registered. I haven't been back to Spursreport since except for when threads pop up about it here.
