It was 3 years, 6 months, and something like 9 days since I joined Spurstalk!
just kidding. That's not why I started the thread.
Only a handful of y'all know that I have (or had) epilepsy (or just seizures...the epilepsy was never diagnosed because the seizures were never recorded on an EEG).
When I was younger(I'm talking like 1-4 years old) I had every type of seizure you could think of, grand mal (the big ones), absence seizures (staring out), mycolonic jerks (the little jerky ones). I was highly medicated and everything was good. I grew out of them by the time I started elementary school and they didn't effect me at all through middle school or high school and my freshman year of college.
However, my sophomore year of college (February 2005), just randomly I had a big grand mal seizure in the middle of the night, paramedics, everyone that lived around me was woken up, the whole shebang. I went to the neurologist and got the whole work up (and found out I have no peripheral vision on my right side at the same time...lol) and was put on a cocktail of medications just to be safe to make sure nothing else happens.
So, come 2009, I've been to the neurologist a few times after and have switched medications and haven't had a seizure in 4 years! So Happy Anniversary to me!
Since then I've basically started a new year every February 1st. so not only Happy Anniversary, but Happy New Year too!
And since it is my 3 years, 6 months, and something like 9 day anniversary of SpursTalk posting, thank you everyone for being supportive (somewhat...haha) in what I do and for everything that you do! I love you all.
