View Full Version : Predict when the Cavs' perfect run at home will end

The Cavs won AGAIN tonight against Toronto for a 23-0 record at home. :wow

They have had injuries to key players and some people do not rate them as a quality team. Yet they manage to keep winning.
If Boston or the Lakers managed 23 straight home game wins I could understand- but the Cavs?
Maybe it's because LeBron is just that damn good and should be MVP :king

So, when do you think Cleveland will falter?
When will their massive home game streak come to a horrible snap?
What team will be the team to end the run?

It will end in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Dallas will be down by 1 point with 5 seconds left, Dirk will be trapped after the ball is inbounded, he'll throw up a prayer, David Tyree will catch the basketball with his helmet and flip it to Josh Howard for the gamewinning layup.

If Pop doesn't decide to rest our big 3 for the rest of the season, I think we have as good a chance as anybody...

Miami on Mar. 7. Second night of a back-to-back (the Cavaliers are in Boston the previous night) and the Heat came awfully close to winning in the Q back in December.

sunday against lakers. with no west that means its going to be pavlovic guarding him and then lebron has to switch over to guard him, which he doesnt really do much, unlike kobe who guarded lebron the last game for all the time he was there.

their perfect home record will never be contaminated this season, their record will last till they are wiped out with 3-4 in the post season.

I wish to see the Cavs win it all if our beloved Mavs are unable to do so, out of spite for KoME and the Fake 3.

And while today was a fluky game, there are some very disturbing trends from the first 2 Lakers-Cavs matchups.

1. the Lakers are doing a good job of sealing off the paint from Lebron
2. The Lakers are getting a LOT of points in paint (62-24 today, not sure about #'s from first game but Bynum/Gasol dominated), while the Cavs are perimeter.

I was aware the Cavs had roster flaws but felt the greatness of the King could transcend them, but now I'm beginning to wonder. He is only shooting 35% in the 5 games v Magic/Celtics/Lakers this year.

The Lakers are just a bad matchup for the Cavs. Cavs are built to beat teams like the Celtics/Spurs/Pistons (slower tempo/grind out teams). But they match up poorly against the Lakers.

Perhaps, that being said Kobe's 40% Finals shooting and the disappearing act of Gasol/Odom/the finesse bullshit Eurotrash jumpshooters will allow the Cavs to win it all in 5 or 6 games v the Lakers.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, the Lakers simply sucked in the Finals last year. They got hit and didn't hit back, rather they folded like pussies.

But of late, they've taken a new attitude, they seem to be aggressors and shit-starters rather than the ones taking the punches.
