Pretty good. Not as good as 99.

I enjoyed it, but I enjoy a lot of dark German bier ("ale" in TX) with 5-7.5% alcohol content.

i'd rather drink an optimator, personally. at least they're trying.

I'm always down for an optimator but you can't pay six bucks for a six pack of those. It's a worth effort to provide a good brew at an everyday drinker price. I'm sure the Shiner bean counters can put me down for 4 cases.

it's 6.99-7.99 at the HEB i go to (same as the Shiner)! Unless you're talking about Celebrator.

The last couple of times I've looked at Optimator, it was 8-9 bucks. I gotta keep an eye out for it now.

I only buy Shiner when it is at or below a buck a bottle. I like to have poker games at the house now and then but I got too many guys bringing Lone Star and then raiding my beer fridge for the good stuff. I need a second beer fridge where I can keep all my Belgian ales and the rest of the premium stash.
