I have a 1 gb (refurb though). I like it, its great for working out, just get some better earbuds. The screen, drag n drop + fm radio > apple shuffle.

If you want some cheap, relatively good earphones, try some JVC Marshmellows. They're decent value for the money.

Also look to Koss Porta-Pros for the gym, and Super.Fi 3s or 5s, or Denon D700s if you want some excellent canalphones.
