1) Varejao, Marks, Ely, Bowen, and Brown are FAs after the season with Scalabrine, Pavlovic, Butler, Allen, and Daniels FAs after the next season. This will give some flexibility the next two offseasons.
2) Chandler and Varejao will shore up our defense and rebounding in the paint allowing more transition opportunities and more open looks for Peja and Pavlovic plus alley-oops to Chandler and Varejao.
3) Offense will run better with Chandler and Varejao setting screens for CP3 allowing him to penetrate and find Peja and Pavlovic for open 3's and dunks for Chandler and Varejao.
