I like Lebron but did Ben Wallace hand him that 9th rebound????

yup, he acted like he was bobbling while actually tipping it over to lebron. Big Ben would not let the rebound go if he wanted it.

when I saw that play I knew that rbd would be on LJ's count. He was with 8 before that, so I went to look the scoreboard and what'd you know he suddenly had 9. But that's cool though every sinlge star in this league gets the same treatment. I swear to god I saw Devin Brown beign assisted by Paul in coast to coast run where he dribled the ball like 8 times.

P.S: I bet this was posted by a KCS.

Still an amazing game by Lebron... The bottom line is that the Cavs won. I've never seen a stat line like that before.

This happens a lot. Especially when Paul gets 18 assists.

"Wallace the rebound, picked up by James"

Wilt averaged... 50/25 for a season.
Oscar Robertson averaged... 30/11/12 for a season

You can look at what Bird did to find some great stats as well. What Lebron and Kobe is doing is nothing.

Calm down Grandpa. It's something for this generation to witness.

Assists are completely mangled these days.

If LeBron played in that era he would average 40-15-10.

Kobe would probably average 50.

Some writer looked into it and said the Hornets scoreman is ridiculously generous to CP3 when it comes to assists. One game when he had 18 or something, the guy went through each one and 8 of them should not have been assists.

He was given an assist when West caught the ball in the post, faced his man up, dribble about 4 times and scored :lmao

So we should take CP3's assists with a grain of salt.

:lol

That's just lame! shame on these scorekeepers. I guess I feel better now whenever I watch and check the boxscores "wow he had that many? ..... wait, I thought he had more assists than he did.." that I'm not watching the same game the scoremen are watching.

CP3 DOES get VERY generous assists. But it's all good in my book, New Orleans, the city, deserves some love.

And as much as I hate CP3, he's a bad-ass little mofo.

so 52, 9, and 11 is suddenly nowhere near as good as 52, 10, and 11?

LeBron tackled two or three cameramen last night, including the one on the last rebound.

That is total crap. Wallace got the rebound and tossed it to Lebron. Miraculously, Lebron ends up with the stat. The NBA must really be getting desperate...

Tossed? You must have a different video from everyone else.

This is NBA rule - Rebounds are credited to the first player that gains clear possession of the ball or to a player that successfully deflects the ball into the basket for a score.

Did Ben Wallace have clear possession? Apparently the scorer did not feel that way. People are really splitting hairs over this for no reason. We've already discussed assists and how they go - this is the same case.

The performance was sick, that is it.
