Is he a humorous guy like Barkely?

Pippen is a shitty commentator... thinks too highly of himself for a person with his IQ

As far as FORMER players go... I would love to see someone like Bill Russell comment on today's game... and the dude is a funny funny cat...

Bill Laimbeer (sp?) would be awesome...

I really wish Sean Elliott (I really hope that is spelled right it didn't give me the red underline) liked the national scene more... he was GREAT on the national stage...

If there's anyone who parties harder than the chuckster, it would be rodman, he just doesn't have the time to commentate.

Barkley and Kenny rule. I liked Kerr. I wish TNT would steal Walton away from ESPN.

Sean Elliott would be great, but I don't want to lose him as the Spurs commentator.

Alonzo Mourning is good. I didn't see him, but based on everything I read, Karl Malone did a nice job.

Players who I feel would do well as commentators or analyst.....

Mark Price
Kevin Johnson
Steve Smith
George Gervin
Danny Ainge
Bill Laimbeer
James Worthy
Clyde Drexler
Brad Daugherty

Hopefully they keep Karl Malone. As much of a d-bag he was as a player, he's a pretty good commentator.

Just stay away from

Payton
Magic
Isiah
Kemp
Iverson

BTW add Bruce Bowen to my list of players I wouldnt mind seeing on TNT....once he retires of course. Actually, I would love to see Sean and Bruce doing the Spurs games.

Yeah, I get FSH here in Lake Charles and Drexler would definitely not be a good idea. Little C would be awesome. I love how he pans on T-Mac daily on his radio show.

Jordan, Pippen, and Bird are not terribly interesting to listen to. Great players, but can't even come close to what Barkley can do.

Please get the Chuckster back TNT. I can't take Gary Payton or Chrissy Webber anymore. I bet the ratings for the TNT show is WAAAAAY down.

Depens what kind of humor you prefer.
If you actualy wanna learn something and be able to understand what one is saying than David is the perfect analyst.

Luckily he has better things to do with his life.
A guest appearance would be sweet though.
