Yeah - the people in the game blog are idiots that live and die with each shot. Its bad enough when people do it with each game, but they do it on each fucking shot.

why? are we supposed to ignore that he was playing very poorly?..

clearly we are happy afterwards, because we're Spurs fans, and we want to win..it's not like we're cheering against Mason..I've been one of his biggest fans this year, but you have to call him out for his poor effort..

I also called out Tony and Finley, but if they did something positive, I'd show them love too..you can't be a fan if you can't criticize your own players..

Yeah, you shouldn't criticize bone headed moves that almost cost them the games.

We are not real Spurs fans like you uber loyal carebears.

In the heat of the moment, it's perfectly natural to be over-emotional during each play. I'm sure you're the same way. In a game like this, especially, every play seems to matter so much more.

Over emotional does not = bitching about a player that has been awesome all season the way they do. The game blogs are ridiculous.

Can we turn Mason into a verb? As in, the Celtics just got Masoned, just like the Suns did earlier this season?

Poor choice of words. Had he made that previous 3 (which simply rattled out) how many people would have complained?

Yeah, Zero. Its not about anything more than whether or not he's made shots. Thats all you guys see.

When they say "Roger Mason sucks balls," what they really mean is, "It's okay Roger, we still believe in you, just stop sucking balls."

Of course they are, its just a venting place. Doesn't mean that people actually mean the stupid things they type there.

I see what Manny is saying though. It is like people do not know that bball games go up and down. They should know how things change very quickly. But they are fans just having a good time.

What is worse than the game blog over reaction is the trade TP threads that are about to pop up.

I could care less about the previous 3..I don't even care if he's making his shots, I realize you can't make them all..I had a problem with his poor D, his shot selection at times, and the fact that he lost a critical rebound at the end of the game..

I have a major problem when people make threads overreacting, like "Trade X" and "we suck", but I don't feel bad for criticizing players for their mistakes..

I'll admit that I was getting a bit frustrated seeing Shuttlesworth coming off those screens alone, hitting big shots down the stretch with Mason stuggling to keep up. But I wasn't like damn f*(& this kid. Faith is restored and Money is the man!

He might have been talking about Mason's effort on the defensive rebound that he let go then watched Pierce out work him dive and draw the foul. Mason had a tough game and the one shot did not change that.

It is very nice to see that he can struggle and still make a huge shot. Shows great mental toughness.

That's badass, let's do it! I agree with that AND the thread starter. Rationalize it all you want, but it's hilarious to see the back and forth that some of you go through supporting a team that epitomizes the concept of stability and patience. Although, people such as SequSpur who said that he was "done with this team" because they rested against Denver make this is a very fun forum!
