NUMBER-95 -- DARRELL REID -- WAS ARRESTED OUTSIDE THE 'OXYGEN LOUNGE' ABOUT 1:15 THIS MORNING.
HE WAS BOOKED INTO THE MARION COUNTY JAIL ... AND WAS STILL BEING HELD THERE ON A 15-HUNDRED DOLLAR BOND EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
THE ATTENTION HE GOT HERE LAST NIGHT WAS NOT SO POSITIVE.
POLICE SAY REID WAS TRYING TO GET *INTO THE CLUB -- WHICH THEY WERE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE *OUT OF BECAUSE IT WAS AT CAPACITY. ACCORDING TO A POLICE REPORT ... POLICE ASKED REID TO LEAVE SEVERAL TIMES -- BUT HE REFUSED ... SAYING: "I DON'T HAVE TO BECAUSE I'M A FOOTBALL PLAYER WITH THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS."

"At that time, the officer who was directing traffic out of the parking area advised him that it really didn't matter who he was, that he needed to leave the parking area as they were trying to get vehicles out and get the number of patrons down to a safe number inside the club."
