Just been wondering how good Lebron be if he was about 6 inches shorter, we all know LBJ is an Average jumpshooter but has outstanding athleticism and very good court vision. So how good do you think he would be? All-star, Near All-Star, Average Player, Role Player, Glued to bench?

Seriously, you don't a 6'3 PG that has crazy athleticism and good court vision would be in the NBA?

Charles Barkley was about 6'4" and didn't have the perimeter skills LeBron has.

LeBron would be a very good combo guard, probably a lot like Dwyane Wade or Baron Davis.

^ That's a pretty good comparison, on a different note though I can't ever believe that Barkley was 6'4 maybe 6'6 though

Listed at 6'6". Everyone, including Barkley himself has admitted he's closer to 6'4"

His shot would be a major issue because he would no longer have the length to shoot over defendners and his mechanics are fucked, point guards need to have a quick release.

Alot of LeBron comes from the fact that he's a PF with the skills and speed of a guard.

But if he shrinks to 6'3, he'd be another guard with the skills and speed of a guard.

LeBron's a freak a nature, he wouldn't be LeBron without it.

It's kind of like taking Shaq's strength. They just wouldn't be the same.

Well not really, Height and Strength are two different things, in this scenario LBJ would still have his strength and quickness but he would just be a smaller player. But you are right that he wouldn't be the same.

He would've been working on his jumper a lot harder than he has been.

So a superstar version of Baron Davis.

Yeah, Baron Davis was the first guy that came to mind when equating freakish athleticism and brute strength along with the elite speed and quickness. However, doubtful that LeBron would be a fatso like Baron Davis is. I do like the comparison someone else mentioned to Derrick Rose a little better because of the fat factor.

But wade has a good mid range game. Lebrons mechanics are slow and he's not a great shooter. As Don Nelson used to say, you can't teach height, same goes for incredible athleticism. Players with below NBA level basketball skills have made it in this league due to athleticism alone, not to say Lebron wouldn't still be good. He just wouldn't be who he is

he wouldn't have joined cavs if he was 6'3.

He has a long time to develop that jumper because unless he has a freak injury or something that athleticism is not going to suddenly disappear.

i can see davis, but i said rose because he can take it to the hole, and has a streaky shot. think BD has a bit better outside game

How good would shaq be if he only weighed 120lbs?
How good would Kobe be if he only had one eye?
How good would Duncan be if he literally had a monkey on his back that would bite him whenever he got the ball?
