like how darius miles negated $18 million of your team's cap space? no. not even close.

No, a win is a win...a loss is a loss...simple as that.

I had a feeling the Spurs wouldn't/couldn't make it 3 in a row...oh well......the second season starts in a week...the guys need to get R&R and then regroup for the stretch run.

Nah..you can't win em all. Boston was a great win that showed a lot about our team's abilities. We probably underestimated Toronto and for Ukic to have a game like that..that's a fluke. This loss won't hurt us as much as the Boston win helped us.

Yes it does. The NBA is actually going to take away the win in Boston because of this loss. It negates it. Really.

Did Darius Miles negate the Blazers cap space for the next two seasons?

I'm assuming you are being sarcastic.

No it doesn't negate the Boston win.

It was a tight game and the Raptors made shots down the stretch and the Spurs didn't.

It happens!

I will take 36-16 going into the All Star Break after starting 2-5.

Good job Toronto for going out there and beating a team you're supposed to beat.

About time the Spurs don't luck out in a close game.

No.

Spurs were playing b2b on the road and everyone sucked except for big3. And STILL, it was a close game.

this game is a classic end of road trip combined with last game before the allstar weekend loss.

we are 3-2 on this roadtrip. that's all that matters

smrattler
02-11-2009, 09:52 PM
I think what it does is make the road trip look a LOT LESS impressive.

4-1 with win in Boston and only Denver giveaway loss is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3-2, period.

So, dissapointing trip so far as far as I'm concerned.

Raptors w/o Calderon and Bosh? Thats weak shit.

HarlemHeat37
02-11-2009, 10:03 PM
it's funny that we BEAT the Raptors with Bosh, Calderon and their entire team, pretty easily too..but we lost when Bosh and Calderon weren't playing..typical Spurs..

horrible effort tonight..the entire team looked lazy..

does it negate the win? LOL no..is Denver really bad enough that we almost beat them with Roger Mason as our best player? it's playing down to your competition..

FYI- if Calderon plays tonight, we easily win..he doesn't penetrate at all..

No Chris Bosh. No Jose Calderon. Not pretty.

No, it is simply the typical Spurs game of always playing down to the competition. The good news is we usually play up to the good teams and in the playoffs the teams are usually pretty good.

No team wins all 82 games.

You'd rather drop one to a team you'll never see in the playoffs than a conference rival.

Weak, Ghazi, really, really weak? BTW, weak is reserved for your little Mavs and the last time I looked your weakASS Mavericks are still behind the Spurs in the standings. And it will stay that way. You guys had your 15 minutes in the spotlight 3 seasons ago when you wimps blew a 2 game lead to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals only to follow it up the next season by getting blown away in the first round to the Golden State Warriors...of all teams! ROTFFLMFAO. The Spurs would have beaten the Heat. The Mavs caved in big time!

How can ya'll blow off a loss to a mediocre team missing its 2 best players!

It's not like the Spurs have the 2 seed on lockdown or anything, the Nuggets are only 1 game back.
