His name was Ryan, one of the best dogs i have ever had. I remember back when i got him as a pup, summer was coming to end and seventh grade was about to begin, my parents were saying we need a dog to protect the house. So i started to look through the news paper and that is where i found the ad "Free labradors" so i told my parents and off we went. As soon as we got to the place. there he was my new dog ryan at just 10 weeks old, I would have him for the next seven years of my life. I will always love you Ryan R.I.P.

Dogs treat people better than most of their relatives.

I never understood how people got so attached to a dog until I finally got one and I saw it get hit by two cars.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a good friend, no matter how many legs they had.

Awww, poor little thing. I'm a cat owner and I know I'll have to deal with this somewhere down the road, she's 15 yrs old.

My deepest condolences. I have two chocolate labs, Ranger and Dakota, each a year old, and I love them as if they were my own children. Lord knows I am already regretting the day that I will have to say goodbye. Dogs give us such great joy and a companionship that is unmatched. They can teach us so many things that most humans will never discover on their own. I recommend reading Marley and Me by John Grogan if you haven't already. Best wishes my friend.

That sucks dude. Sorry about it. I know how you feel, I put my dog of 10 years down about 3 months ago. It was a very difficult thing to have to do. I got a new puppy a few weeks ago and as much as I'm already attached to him he will never replace the friend I had.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost one of my cats just under two weeks ago, I know how raw you feel. Pets fill a special place in our hearts and homes. I wish you peace as you work through it.

I remember having to help my mom take our dog from my childhood to the vet to be put down and the deep sadness I felt for our younger dog when the old dog didn't come home that night. It was truly moving.
My condolences on your loss. I'm not anxious for the day that I have to face that with my own dog.

My sympathies BBF, your dog was special to you as your were special to him with lots of love, attention, warm bed and a full belly. Some animals never have that kind of life. When the time comes, please share your love, give another animal a happy life.
