It's hard but I really hope so

I consider that the value of 2000 All Star game MVP was little less than other's because of sharing honor with shaq.

For the All star game, I hope Timmy can play more selfish and egoistic as well as aggressive in some respects, every player likes to show off his talented skill in all star game because of all eyes on there.

So Timmy should play more aggressive in the all star game this year for getting one more individual award, in the past 8 years all star games, Timmy had played well but unselfish so that it's time to play a little selfish, and you know what? no one can guarantee that whether Timmy wll be selected as a all star or not next few year due to his age and state.right?

It's such a conflict that most of the spurs fans say that "Man we don't care the All Star game, whatever, but how come and why during the voting days, all of you voted for Duncan from the fisrt voting day to the last voting day?
it's because All men like honor.

So I'm looking forward to watching Timmy to get the All Star MVP in Phoenix:wakeup

I'd like to see a few nice plays in the 1st quarter, then I want him out of there.

If Timmy gets an injury at a the damn all-star game...

allstar mvp doesnt mean much = shit, just look at the ballhogs over the years who have won the award....

i prefer if he can sum how prop up his stats another 10% and ride out this season strong, he can make a strong case for MVP+DPOY hence my fukn name.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get all star mvp. However the chance of injury is always there as you stated.

it's in Phoenix. I think he'll win it by default. Tim owns that place.

How about Tony Parker?

What about him? He's not in the game. Unless you're talking about the skills challenge, then yes, I'd like to see TP win that.

Same thing with Money Mase in the 3 point contest. :king

exactly, any honour would be faded if it had to be shared with shaq, so it's reasonable that kobe's 3 rings are nothing but faggot.

It would definately make up for the one that he had to share with Shaq 9 years ago. That was garbage.

On topic, I have no interest in the ASG, well the contests are fun and stuff but the game is pointless. I'd prefer Manu to be selected than one of our player shining.
More than that I'd just like them to stay healthy.

Goin to Kobe, Bron or Wade IMO.

:depressedIt would be great, but I don't think it would be allowed, considering everyone's hard-on for Kobe and Lebron. If Timmy started going off, David Stern would send in a Thug to break Tims knees or something.:wow

I want him to tell Colonel Sanders "Fuck you, Parker and I are sittin' back with our feet up and talking to Jay-Z courtside, play Kobe all 48."

I just want Tim to stay healthy. After that, have fun. I think the other 'stars' on the teams appreciate his talent, so it really is just about the fans. This fan wants him healthy and having fun.

It would be great if TD just chugged his way to a perfect game and pulled it out from under the usual names, but...

This year is all about Kobe and LeBron. One goes to NY and does something amazing, the other follows and tries to one-up him. The media makes this year's MVP a two horse race and I don't disagree. I think this year's all-star game wil be all about them, after all they are across from each other and have the ball in their hand most of the time or whenever they want it.

An All Star MVP would be nice, but it's not like Timmy has anything to prove.

02-13-2009, 09:25 AM
why does everyone fear an injury during that no defense game?
Is a ASG more "dangerous" than a regular NBA game ?? I don't think so.
Too lazy to check this but i don't remember any serious injury during an ASG.
So chill out. TD and TP will be fine.

there is no chance in hell Duncan will be MVP. He will have solid numbers and if West decides to try to win the game, Duncan will get tons of minutes. But MVP? no way

Exactly. You can tell by the way he plays in the ASG he doesn't really care who wins or how many minutes/points he gets. And that's just fine with me. I hope he has fun; that's it.

exactly, it also explains why Mike Brown selected 3 magic players to all-star game, on the same purpose of hurting them. bur J Nelson has broken his despicable trick, and his shoulder as well.

Tim's game and personality aren't suited to win All-Star MVPs, just Finals MVPs! :hat

Mike Brown doesn't pick the reserves himself. He has a vote along with all of the other head coaches in the conference.
