November 22.9 PPG - 4.1 RPG - 1.7 APG - .461% FG

December 25.1 PPG - 7.7 RPG - 2.9 APG - .472% FG

January 27.8 PPG - 8.8 RPG - 3.7 APG - .494% FG

February 30.8 PPG - 6.7 RPG - 3.8 APG - .515% FG

Whats his ceiling? He might be a 30-10-5-2 player down the road.

Last time I checked they didn't even play the same position so that's not a very fair comparison.. if the blazers were looking for a sg sf they would of went with durant hands down.. but they needed a center and I'm still standing by oden.. way too early to label anyone a bust. When oden gets 30 mins or more he's averaging like 15 and 12... that's when he stays out of foul trouble of course.

of course not. anyone 5 year old kid can tell you that. but they will forever be linked as the no 1 and 2 picks. same with sam bowie and jordan. now im not saying odens gonna be like bowie, but durant has had a far more positive impact than oden at this point of their careers.

Of course durant has.. he's a lot more nba ready than oden, and was givin the greenlight to shoot whenever as the number 1 option.. he's a very talented player.. yea they will be joined at the hip as 1 and 2 for the rest of their careers.. I think they will both go down as great players though. Durant is a stud. Give oden some time and I think he will be too.

I agree-- Durant is great and hasn't peaked. And that's with no post presence to draw defenders away from him. Plus if he puts on a little weight in the next three years or so, he'll be versatile enough to play four positions. I love his game. I'd bet he's a perennial all-star starting next year.

His coach already played him at four positions. Durant is awesome.

Durant's a fucking monster. Too bad he's stuck in that shithole until 2012. I'd love to see him walk to the Hornets to team up with Chris Paul.

Is there a smoother player in the league? Everything he does just seems so effortless. I love watching him play.

he already is. the only thing oden can do better is bench press. and bench pressing has never been proven to improve one's scoring.

Watched him play while he was in college at Toyota Ctr. He was a beanpole but he sure could stroke the rock. His stats are inflated playing for that shitty team in OKC. He wouldn't be putting nearly those numbers up had he played for any championship calibur team. More likely he'd be like Yi or coming off the bench.

Are you smoking crack? There isn't a team in the league he wouldn't start for. And you can say his stats are inflated, but dude is still shooting almost 50% from the field, so he is still productive as hell.

I think one thing that has helped Durant's game is the improvement of Green. Those two are a great duo on the court.

The NBA better hope that they don't win the lottery, cause if they do, they will get Blake Griffin.....a low post defending and rebounding machine. Then they have 2 other first round picks as well. I think they can definitely improve their front court in this next draft.

He can straight up score. Haven't seen a player score so effortlessly since prime T-Mac.

DURANT'S TIME COMING: (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5g6XFKg_EJazut3OkWPQZgHtbcXLgD96BNE280) Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant was left out of the All-Star Game. But he's made his presence felt in Phoenix this weekend.

Durant scored a Rookie Challenge-record 46 points to lead the NBA's sophomores to a 122-116 victory over the rookies on Friday night, shattering the record of 36 set by Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire as a sophomore in 2004.

Players were still buzzing about it during All-Star practices on Saturday.

"He'll have his time," San Antonio center Tim Duncan said. "He'll be on this floor just like we are. I'll probably be gone by then, but he'll definitely be out here and be representing the right way."
