I'm sure you'd like to, but he's not.

Who'd you rather have now, Oden or Durant? Beginning to look like Pritchard Pritchslapped himself.

Ask any Cleveland fan and he's not nearly as good as JJ HIckson. Dude's a potential HOFer.

I thought there was a official oden thread haha. Durant right now is obviously better than oden.. but you have to remember odens barely played half a season and is comming back from a pretty serious injury while still trying to adapt to the nba.. he's been getting better about foul trouble give him longer than a half of season to label him a bust.

Oden's been getting a lot better recently. Pretty dumb time to call him a bust.

you have to take his blown out knee into consideration, but he's shown flashes of greatness

Can we wait 2 more years? Criticising is one thing. Calling him a bust is another.

Oden just needs work on his footwork..He has no offense expect a dunk. His hook is damn near disgusting to watch haha. Bynum is way better then Oden right now but if Oden had a good coach he could probably get better. Not many ppl can say that kareem the dream is your personal coach.

Hes not a bust - not at all. But right now, his ceiling looks to be a slightly bigger and better version of Emeka Okafor. Not much offense, but a good shot blocker and rebounder.

From the Blazers point of view, they would not even trade him for Dwight. Which is kind of hilarious.

I don't think it's fair to call him a bust because no one outside of Tlong expected him to be all nba first team. He'll be a solid starter just probably not a superstar

10 points 10 boards and 3 blocks for his career. solid guy but no superstar

Oden isn't a bust. He's just a raw talent and needs experience & grooming.

BTW Bynum has been in the league for over 3 years now. The Lakers also have Kareem literally breast feeding the dude. Bynum also doesn't have a jumpshot yet. :rolleyes

We'll should wait another 2-3 years before we can declare Bynum>Oden.

Exactly. I might joke around and call him a bust in the Oden thread, but it's all in fun. I don't think he's a bust. He is already showing some gawdly rebounding.

if people are actually serious when i say they need to trade him for a 2nd round pick lmao

Greg Oden isn't a bust. To be a bust, you have to come into the league with high expectations. No one expected Greg Oden to do anything. And he didn't do anything. To call him a bust would say that we all actually expected him to make an impact or being someone of value in the NBA. He is neither of those.

Oden is young. If he's a bust, you would not see teams wanting him. Just about any team in the NBA would like to have him under the hoop right now. I know if Timmy taught him a thing or two in S.A., he'd be lethal.

He's only 20.

he is frail even at such a young age, it's unthinkale how "tmac" he will be when he gets a little bit older.

for a #1 pick yes. for a first round pick no.

True. We all love jokes about Oden. The reason why he isn't playing 30 minutes regularly is not because of foul trouble. It is because of stamina, which is causing him to foul the players simply because he does not have the stamina to keep up with them yet.
