Ive supported the Lakers prolly longer than you have been alive. And it's exactly why i would cancel. Not because of the name on the back, but the one on the front. He totally dissed the entire organization like everyone he has played for. It would be an embarassment for the organization.

I've softened on Shaq a bit lately. I have to give him respect for being a relevant All-Star calibur player after 17 years in the league, and he does give back to the community at an above average level (and with more than an "I have to do this for work" attitude about it.)

I still hate how he, with the assistance of a media that lapped up his every word, degraded DRob for so long, and it pisses me off that he got his fourth ring on the flukiest Championship team ever.

I also don't like the whole "we talk shit for marketing" bit. While I buy that a lot of his statements are meant to sell the game, there's a reason I don't watch pro wrestling. I'm tired of sports coverage slowly declining into another gossip medium, and players like Shaq contribute to the problem.
