If I pay to go see a movie I'm getting my money's worth regardless of how bad it is. Unless I'm getting a refund I'm staying.

Worst movie ever. Ever. Visiting a friend. She had a job interview. Bored. Wanted to see a movie. Only two playing at that time were How High and this crap job. How High is the Pianist compared to this steaming pile of shit. I would like to take the person who came up with this and repeatedly punch them in the face until my fist comes out the back of their head. Just like in the movie!

Unbelievably horrible movie. I would have walked out, but my date and I were having too much fun making fun of it at the time.
Would I have been there alone, I definitely would have been out of there in 30 minutes max. We heard people afterward saying how good it was, and had to shake our head about their lack of ability to even realize a non-existent plot when it happens.

It did receive some critical acclaim and I do know Cucking Funt has stated that she liked the movie. I thought it was absolutely horrible. Just a long exercise in romanticizing and glorifying violence and murder.

Yes...if I have already wasted the money and time driving to the theater, I am going to see it through. Besides, I don't think I have ever hated watching a movie to the point of needing to leave. The soda, popcorn and candy will keep me interested enough...

I knew you missed the point, t-wang. It's about a society (America) that, through its media, glorifies violence and desensitises its population to something that should be shocking. Too subtle for you, obviously.

My wife likes that movie so I've made more than one attempt to watch it, but I kept finding myself walking out about halfway through it.
Then I remembered that I was home at the time, so I'd re-enact the scene from the Flintstones where Fred gets locked outside the front door.
It's fun.

same here. i own the dvd. Red October is actually regarded as a classic, one of baldwin's/connery's fine movies and one of tom clancy's best stories.
i also enjoyed the sequels with harrison ford like clear and present danger, but did not like the one with affleck and freeman.
whott just has bad taste on this one.

Joe and Blaze....the Hunt for Red October is a great movie as I later found out. However, at that time I did not know that....
....and I was on ecstasy.
I don't care how good it is...it's not a good movie to see on ecstasy.
I also ended up liking the Devil's Rejects later on. I walked out of that one for entirely different reasons(since I wouldn't touch ecstasy or any drug of that sort with a 10 foot pole now). I ate some greasy fried chicken before I saw it...I was feeling kind of nauseous to begin with when I went in there. If you've seen that movie you should understand why I had to leave that one.

I take that back, I rented Battlefield Earth with some buddies a couple years ago for amusement, but it didn't even qualify as so-bad-it's-funny. It was just terrible. We made it about an hour through and decided to watch the South Park Scientology episode instead.

Only one: Ultraviolet. A minute in, I could feel the itch. We ended up gettin our money back, though, so it wasn't a COMPLETE waste.
Had I actually GONE to the theaters to see Kung Pao, I would've walked out also. I have many friends that go APESHIT over that movie, however. I don't get its appeal in the SLIGHTEST. I have to admit, though, one of my guilty pleasure movies is Malibu's Most Wanted. [hangin head in shame]
