It seems to be because he's the big problem of the team if you read most of the threads.C'mon Finley isn't all star right now but we still can use him this year. The big problem is the paint. We can win the NBA with the actual backcourt.
Finley wasn't the problem yesterday.Do you want to trade Parker because he can't guard anybody? Of course not.

Forget Salmons or Carter. We need a big.We are no going to win only with TD or Thomas.

All the threads about getting Salmons/Carter aren't really about Finley (despite what some posters are saying). They are because of the unknown health status of Manu. Sure, Finley sucks sometimes but with a healthy Manu, that wouldn't really matter.

If Manu is healthy, the Spurs should try to make a play for a big.
If he's not, then they should try to make a play for a wing.

Im not buying that Manu is SERIOUSLY hurt.

I saw no signs prior to the ASG break that he was lagging or hurt.

I dont know what to make of him not playing last night.
