No lie, although it should be mentioned Rasho has no FTs attempted in the last four games :lol

When does he ever, though? He's got 25 attempts this YEAR.

Ive always wondered, why does he HAVE to.

Why are free throw attempts sucha fuckin big deal is my question.

I'm just kidding, I don't really care about Rasho. I am impressed with Tim's hot streak at the line however, just hope it holds up for the rest of his career :)

I know your not,

but its in response to the other TARDS that always bring up that horseshit excuse.

Because free throw attempts mean that he's aggressively going to the rack.

points from the perimter, points inside.

Whats the difference.

Well,

For one thing if he's being aggressive that usually translates to both ends of the floor.

Two, getting the other team's big men in foul trouble means less fouls to use on Duncan not to mention increased timidity on defense (good for when Manu, Tony, et. al go to the rack also).

Because you get opponents in foul trouble by taking the ball aggressively to the hoop, plus you get freethrow attempts -- AND ONE's are a good thing.

Dude, I give Rasho his props when he deserves them (look at the other Rasho thread). He certainly deserved them against Utah, even though the stats don't show how good of a game he had. I agree with AHF, he was critical in the fourth Q.

Rasho played a pretty damn good game yesterday. I want that from him every night, something he seems to be getting better at. I can almost give him a pass on not shooting free throws.

Just like every other Spur brings it every night, right? :rolleyes

How many other Spurs have shot more than 25 free throws this year? How many other starters are more aggressive than Rasho? How many bench players? Even when I compliment Rasho, people get defensive.

Kori, I think the reason why Rasho does not get the FT line is he makes his baskets with his sky hook, his 12-15 jumper or tip ins, all of which usually are not condusive to getting fouled. also, he probably does not want to get fouled, because he would hurt his team with his misses.

I think the Spurs shoot FTs well when TD and Rasho are not shooting them, as it is well known that poor FT shooting is contagious, because after a couple of guys miss, the next guy tries harder to make up for the ones that the previous guy missed and they try too hard.

The point, keep TD and Rasho away from the FT line in tight contests. :)

Are the Spurs in bottom 3 or 4? I think with Bowen's improvement, the Spurs have probably moved out of bottom 10, right?
