2013 2nd round draft pick.

I didn't even know you could trade that far into the future.

This doesn't even compare to the gasol trade

Memphis already has a backup white stiff at C. Why the need for Mihm?

If I were a Laker fan I'd probably have given Mihm the nickname I have given Lopez recently:

uselessfuck.

Now, now, instead of getting pissed let's just be glad the lakers didn't get OJ Mayo out of this.

lmao that has to be the funniest trade in history. They traded Chris Mihm for what amounts to a 9th grader

Lakers need the cap. Don't they have to sign Ariza and Odum this summer???

Again Lakers have a really good FO, and BTW Mitch is sticking it to all those fucktards (Lakers fans i might add) that were all over him 2 years ago. Nice going Mitch.

Also Kobe needs to restructure his contract to make way for Odum & Ariza this summer. I think he should compromise for a 5year/$100mil contract like Duncan did a year ago.

Although West isn't there anymore, I'm still convinced he is behind the Gasol trade

If the Lakers win it all, Kobe "might" think about giving up money. If they fall short, who knows.

Kobe isn't signining ror less than max.

Would he rather let Ariza & Odum walk?

uh no. he is a FA this summer so doesnt matter he woulda walked in the summer anyway. this way the lakers got at least something for him

nope buss will pay for odom and ariza. odom will sign for about 9-10 mil and ariza for about 5-6. trading radmanovic enabled this to happen for buss while keeping the budget as this year

I'm also surprised at this trade, just because they didn't get you. I think should also be traded to LA where your gift for humour can be made the most use of.

It seems Memphis has become the Lakers farm system. OJ Mayo will be back in LA in the future. Lakers will have Memphis trade Rudy Gay as a part of a 3-way trade. It's really neat. I wish we could we have a minor league team.

In all seriousness, it was for a warm body for a conditional 2nd rounder a few years away.

If I was Buss, I'm thinking "Why the hell not...we don't need him"

And if I was the Grizzlies, I'm thinking, "why not..we get a 7 footer who was once decent for a conditional 2nd rounder we probably won't even keep."

I wonder who stern prefers in the finals, Cavs or Boston? Seems like one of those two will pull off a miracle trade today... LA is a given in the west... (sorry spurs you can execute all you want, but if LA keeps it close the refs will do you in)

Mihm showed real promise 3 years ago & then sustained a serious ankle injury…Maybe he can stay healthy & get some playing time in Memphis….Mihm is a likeable guy…Other than punching Mbenga in practice yesterday thing…

I'm really going to miss backing up Gasol at center.
I loved backing up Gasol.
Heck, I just love saying his name - Gaa-soool.
I wonder whom I'll be backing up in Memphis.
