C: Kwame Brown. (ben wallace?)
SF: Artest
Pg: Marbury
SG: Tmac.
PF: Zach Randolph (amare, rasheed?)

regarding artest, found this gem on wikipedia

"In spite of his abilities, Artest has been the subject of much controversy. During his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls, he was subject to criticism for applying for a job at Circuit City, just to get an employee discount"

Isn't Ben Wallace a bigger headcase than Chandler? Isn't that what led to his departure from Detroit?

Ricky Davis?

Is Ruben Patterson still in the league?

Feel free to update the list, there's other teams I don't follow so closely that may have better picks.

Patterson is a good call if he's still around.

J.R. Smith?

I'm too lazy to update my original post, someone just update my list and post it in their own reply. :) Basically I'm just looking to cover all 5 positions.

That initial list is the starters. I think there are enough headcases in the league you could come up with a roster for a 2nd All-Headcase-NBA team.

Then we can break it up into western and eastern teams and sell it to stern as another event for the allstar game in Dallas. The Allstar Headcase game. Cuban can be the owner for the west...

How is Tyson Chandler a headcase? He's been a true pro for the Hornets the last 3 seasons.

Exactly. I've never heard one thing about Chandler. Eddy Curry, on the other hand, that's a different story. I'd put him and Shaq's fat ass on there before Chandler. Amare Stoudamire too.

How can you have this list and not put T-Mac up at number one?

Danny Fortson and Jerome James are both lucky to not be on the team.

J.R. Smith?

Yeah, you have to put J.R. Smith on the list. And as a starter, too.

What position?

I'd say 2-3... but with a chance for early release.

I guess it might depend on what your definition of a "headcase" is, because I don't and never viewed Ben Wallace as a headcase. He was a guy who overvalued his ability. Many athletes do the same without being considered headcases.

As for his departure from Detroit, it didn't have anything to do with him being a "headcase." Dumars and the Pistons gave him an offer to stay. The Bulls offered $12 million more.

Stephon Marbury - still getting paid to sit
Josh Howard - maybe just Junior High trying to be cool
Ron Artest - Tru Warped
Chris Andersen - fly, Birdman, flyyyyy
Eddy Curry - don't stand next to him at a urinal

Ron Artest has been a good boy this year. No complaints.
