We need to go after wilcox or see if we can swing a deal with Min for Mike Miller.

Miller possibly could be had. He's not playing all that well for Minnesota, they'd don't need him or his salary...

spurs vs pistons game 6 is on NBA tv and it ends at 3 o clock if any wants to waste time and maybe this is a sign of sheed coming to spurs??

Trade deadlines are 99% anti-climatic. Everyone needs to understand a rumor is just a rumor and not to expect much. Too much hype has been ramped up the last few days/hours, especially on this board. Yes, I'm talking to you, Ellis Family.

Please calm down, people. If the FO doesn't do anything, we'll be just fine.

If we don't get a big man we are not going to win a title plain and simple. I cant believe the spurs are ignoring this issue. Yea okay lets put Bonner next to Duncan to battle the lakers and celtics in a seven game series okay.:rolleyes

Bruno
02-19-2009, 02:05 PM
Don't forget that trades can happen before the trade deadline. The League can give teams some extra time to finalize a trade.

But wasn't this the problem with the JR Smith trade a few years back? It was because they submitted the trade after the deadline. (at least that's what I thought)

I think what we have is good enough to get us past LA. Anything can happen. Injuries happen.
Pop will sit with the team after this and say, "this is who we are and this is what we're gonna be here on out." They'll come together defensively and everyone will figure out their roles. I still have hope they'll be there in the end.

Teams need to contact the league before the deadline and ask some extra time to finalize a specific trade.

why? because you are not privy to every deal they have potentially discussed with teams? Just because something may not happen, does not mean they didnt try. Things are not always as easy as some fans want them to be
