He just said that he was responsible for what he did, and all he can do is apologize and say that he won't ever let it happen again. He said that he let the NBA and all his sponsors down by his actions and that he challenged everybody to really think about their actions next time they've been drinking and want to drive. He said it would be hypocritical to think that nobody is ever going to drink and drive, but that he should be an example of how bad a decision it can be. (Which is true. Drinking and driving is a decision that is made by thousands of people every night. I bet most everybody on this board has gotten behind the wheel at least once when they probably shouldn't have)

He also started getting teary eyed and had to catch his breath and choose his words when talking about the support all his friends had given him.

Those wins were with semi-healthy Manu. With Ginoboli out, it will just put that much more pressure on a worn out Duncan and Parker to perform. It was the FO's responsibility to bring in some reinforcements to help this team weather the storm...that didn't happen.

I think it's clear by now that Manu is absolutely essential to the Spurs winning a championship.

Not very calming knowing he hasn't been himself for about a year now because of numerous injuries. If manu is not the manu from a few years back in these playoff we will lose with this current team to the lakes and possibly some others also. Even if he is healthy, if lakes are full health too we still lose cuz of size and bench.
