..at the deadline.

IF a big trade was made it would go against all of the Spurs principles.
we are what we are. beg. to end.

I wouldn't say I'm glad but you are right we are what we are. I don't know why I actually expected a trade this year.

I'm glad we didn't make a bad trade. Like Mason and Pornstar just for Carter.

I think we'll still add a player this year - a veteran big who has been paid out, possibly Mihm or Smith.

I'm also glad we didn't make a bad trade, and gutting the roster for Carter would have been a bad trade for now and the future.

we didn't have the assets..this off-season will be huge though..if we can sign someone like Wallace, and just as important, get Mahinmi healthy+add Gist, we'll be in good shape(depending on Manu's health as well)..

some trades are already "done" and had been sent to stern before the deadline, but stern needs more time to permit thost trades than the time those teams spent negotiating and making the deals, due to his age.

Why the fuck would you want to get Chris Mihm for?......

Plus an early 2nd rounder, and there's also the (admittedly remote) possibility that Splitter has a buyout this summer.

Hopefully the Spurs can get Rasheed for the MLE but other contenders can offer him the same deal. But some of those teams are thinking about 2010 which helps the Spurs chances.

And they'll have the expiring contracts (Bonner, Thomas, maybe Bowen and Oberto too) to make a big trade. Alot of teams are gonna be trying to get rid of their big contracts (Carter, RJ, George Wallace, SJax, Magette) for 2010 cap space.

PG: Parker, Hill
SG: Manu, Mason
C: Wallace
PF: Duncan, Mahinmi
SF: Trade

This team will win.

And I approve this message.

We needed to make a trade. It's not so much that the Spurs have slipped, it's that the competition has gotten a lot better. We still seem to be a team that was built to get past the Suns.

The Gasol trade changed everything. We don't have an answer.

What's the Suns excuse? Dropping 142/per on the Clips seems to have helped Suns management to rediscover their hardons for Amare........:lol
