The Pacers announced today they will be without leading scorer and All-Star forward Danny Granger at least 10 days and up to three weeks with a partial tendon tear in the sole of his right foot.

Granger incurred the injury in the second quarter of Wednesday night's 103-94 loss in Charlotte after making a 3-point shot. He said he felt a "pop" in the foot, walked to the bench to let the coaching staff and trainers know, and headed straight to the locker room.

Granger traveled with the team today from Charlotte to Minneapolis, where the Pacers face the Timberwolves Friday night. He underwent an MRI today that revealed the partial tear.

The injury leaves the Pacers without their top two scorers, Granger (25.0, sixth in the NBA) and Mike Dunleavy (15.1), who has recurring soreness in his right knee. He did not make the trip with the team and will miss Friday's game.

With Dunleavy out again and possibly done for the season and Jeff missing games with his bad back again, things are not looking so good for the Pacers who seem focused now on developing the young guys.

Wasn't he already playing with a quite a limiting injury?
