SEGUIN -- A home for just $100 may sound too good to be true, but it could happen if you are willing to take a chance.
Genesis Christian Academy in Seguin is raffling off the home to raise money for their small school. Officials at the school say the tough economy is taking a toll on their finances.
The school was going to raffle off the house on Valentine's Day, but they didn't reach their goal of 2500 raffle tickets. The state has now given the school permission to extend their raffle. The $144,000 home will now be raffled off on March 16th.
"The raffle is going to help us provide tuition free education, to feed these kids. Also to help us just be here," said Gina Tillman-Young of Genesis Christian Academy.
