49 points through 3 quarters---AND it's a close game still. He could hit 70

I think Cleveland will win the East.

could have had 60 if he shot better from the FT line.

James should stop shooting free-throws like they are jumpshots. He shouldn't jump.

He should be allowed to shoot free throws off his back foot from 25 feet.

I don't know. As this season's going on I'm starting to lean more towards Kobe for the MVP.

meh 14-29 and missed 7 FTS

If he could just work on his shooting especially FTs he would be better than Kobe

Meh. You didn't see him take over when he needed to. He single-handedly got them from double-digits down to double-digits up. He put himself in a position to finish the game as a facilitator, taking advantage of the defensive collapses and finding the open shooters from then on. He didn't shoot well down the stretch, but by then other guys were free and hitting, which is what they're supposed to do, and they won.

Villanueva getting tossed didn't hurt either. He had 26 and 13 and got thrown out with more than a half-quarter left. That ultimately killed them.

But really, it's hard to ask more from a player than what LBJ delivered tonight. The free throws are what they are.

Except that LeBron was 16/29 (55%), not 14/29.

Kobe is a career 45% FG shooter, LeBron is 47%. There isn't much separation there percentage wise, so if LeBron improve his jumper just a little - yikes.

I say Kobe is the MVP. In my mind, he is clearly the best player. FTL.

Yeah, awesome stuff. LOL at people pointing out scoring 55 points in 29 shots as inefficient. LeBron is the best player in the league and it's not even close anymore.

As an aside, Skiles should win the COY award, even if his team doesn't make the playoffs (and they won't). It's amazing how competitive the Bucks are without their 2 best players. Very spirited and very well-coached team

He needs to fix his FTs issue

He's shooting 77% from the FT line this year. That's not really an issue, is it?

Duncan does too. If he could start hitting those, he's be good.
