Just wanted to see what ya'll think of the new regulations, and your picks for the upcoming season. Will Ferrari dominate again? How will Montoya and Raikkonen get along? Was BAR's strong season a fluke? How will the new Red Bull team do, and do Ralf and Jarno know something about Toyota we don't?

This year Renault looks very strong.
I was in some Races here in Europe. I was in Imola, Monza and once in Monaco. It was awsome. The noises of race cars are awsome.

Alright a response! whew for a second there I thought this thread wasn't going to get a single reply. Yeah I imagine Ferrari is going to have it's way again, they have the best drivers and their team is probably going to have easiest time switching to the new rules. Bad ass pic where did you find it? Boy I wish I could watch every race (no one here televises it). :depressed
Well anyway nice to know there's at least one fan out there :spin

How they don`t televises it!! :wow Here in Slovenia we have live broadcast for every race. We have one reporter(funny one :lol ) who go in every race and report from there. He knows a lot of F1 drivers so we could see a lot of things from F1. Also broadcasting all qualifications.

I don't know but it drives me nuts, actually I think they televise some of them on Speed Channel (or at least they used to) but it would come on at like 5 in the morning. It really sucks, however, my friend Jorge who moved here from Mexico to go to mechanic school has his father mail us recoreded video of the race so he can see his beloved BMW-Williams team. ( As you can imagine he was furious when Jenson Button couldn't get out of his contract with BAR.) Americans for some reason prefer to watch Fords and Chevys go in circles. :spin I guess I'm an exception

I've been to F1 races in Long Beach and in Phoenix several years ago.

I like IMSA too -- I've been to the track at Laguna Seca.

Ive never been at an F1 race, but I do watch when Im up very early sunday mornings.

Im more an INDYCAR guy, Ed Carpenter, Tomas Scheckter, those guys :) Unfortunately for the past couple of years the combo of best driver and best car has made the F1 less attractive to TV. Also I used to watch every race and really be into F1 big time knowing all about the minute technical changes on the different cars, new stategy (Ross Brawn is a genious), influence of the track on different type of things etc. And if you really follow it that close F1 can be fascinating, now with the regulations bringing it ever closer to Indy car style racing I do not pay as much attention as I used to. I understand that closer races bring a bigger TV audience, but in my book it is ruining the essence of F1.

I agree with u on that 1 Slomo.
With new rules F1 is becaming boring on each step. Now drivers instead of fighting each other are saving material for next GP!!! I'm mean WTF?????
:flipoff :flipoff :flipoff .
Bring back the old days of racing, when drivers were batteling each other for every position not just for a win!!!!
Stupid Bernie and FIA Mr. Mosely are destroying most famous moto sport in the world!!!
Can't wait GPWC to start in 2008!!!!
