A rump of 30,000-50,000 advisers will remain. It's about time. We need to start getting out of there before the next civil war begins.

"Combat troops" is a nonexistent distinction. It's not like those 50k troops can't fight.

It's a good hope, yet not a feasible task. Iraq is still messing as hell, retreating our troops will only make those extremists and terrorists fight back. Had we got this chance, our troop would have been back for years. Irap's troops are just like goats compared those wolf-like terrorists, it's stupid to expect them to protect those Iraqi citizens.

Our troops shouldn't even have launched the war to Iraq, someone just childishly thought our troops could easily kicked the tyrant outside that country and then made the country a democracy like us. Our dollars and the lives of our soldiers do have brought the Iraqi people liberty, but nothing good for us. Korea and Iran still stand in their empires, terrorists are still alive...
