Every team, well most anyway (except for the elite) have that one arena they cant win in.

for the Mavs its always been Staples (not counting the Clippers obviously:lol), for the Jazz its San Antonio, the Nuggets had like a 20 game losing streak in Dallas until recently. im pretty sure there isnt an arena that the Spurs struggle to win at consistently but where's the one city you guys struggle at the most?

Milwaukee?

That's a good one.

I think I'd generally go with Staples -- at least in terms of a building where the Spurs have had little playoff success. For the record, the Spurs haven't won a playoff game at Staples since Game 6 of 2003 and by my count have only won 2 playoff games in 14 tries there (the other was Game 2 in 2002), since 2001.

interesting. i didnt think you guys would say Staples cause you beat LA in 03, but the Mavs have like 2 wins in 30 years or something seriously:lol

we beat them in OT in 05 when they werent even a playoff team, and somehow beat them by 40 in 07. among those losses was the epic 27 point 4th quarter meltdown

Just a first impression on my part, really; and it's all relative.

It's hard to point to some place that the Spurs haven't had much success because even places where they struggled when the home team was good have become places that they play well because the home team is struggling at some point in the recent past.

Milwaukee?

Agreed!!! We could go 81-1 and the one place it seems like we always lose at is in Milwaukee. Even if the Bucks are 1-81, their one win would be against the Spurs.

Every other contender in the league goes in and blows them out and then we go up there and they blow us out. Go figure.

At least it hasn't kept us from winning trophies.

First thing that came to my head when I first read it was Milwaukee.... then i read the responses... I concur... Milwaukee has been a team home or away that the spurs have always struggled with. Their record against Milwaukee since the 98-99 season is 8-12... i can't imagine there is another team that we are below .500 against much less .400
