Have any of you noticed, but it seems to have become louder than usual. Normally when I am at the game or watching, the crowd would only get excited in a close game. Nowadays it seems that every little thing the Spurs do gets the crowd going. Is it just me, or is it because of the things that have been going on the season (injuries, trade deadline, new guys...?)

Maybe that and with the economy in the tank the people who are there are the ones who really want to be there.

I could tell last night, i don't go to games often but it was fun everyone was into it. Every single time the blazers missed and we got a rebound every one got loud and cheered. I went to a kings game and the crowd seemed flat but last night was great

One thing I would love to see is if the Spurs crowd gets as fired up as the GSW crowd was when they beat the Mavs in rd 1. That crowd was ridiculous!

It does seem a little bit more alive this season. It could be because Stan Kelly is gone. J/K

Because the Spurs were shorthanded...
The fans knew that without Tim & Manu, their help was necessary !
And the crowd responded well. :toast

it's louder due to more women in the arena, coincidentally after the Hill story came out..

It was pretty loud around me (of course, it could have been the upteenth beers the guys in front of us had)but I thought the fans stepped it up giving the players that extra energy they needed, especially without the big 2 playing.
It's going to be loud again Friday, I hope!:downspin::flag:

it seems about the same to me, but who knows. usually the fans at the AT&T center aren't as into it as other arenas. I haven't been to a game this year, but I'm going to the game against Cleveland tomorrow so I'll see how rowdy everyone gets.
