nba 2k9 on PS3 help

it did it once but cant find how to do it again.

i'm playing the association which is a franchise mode.

How can i go and change my players ratings, numbers, positions, etc..

Please help

go to roster management then rosters then you press uh triangle i think then you just pick edit player
