To be even more fair, Phoenix got to bring their own refs to the game, I mean it didn't make up for Qrich eing out and us only missing Tim and Manu, but it was close.

you don't score bonus points for kicking the crap out of your opponent.

Spoken like a true loser.

One thing also to take from this game is that the Spurs are incapable of handling Stoudemire.

Yeah, I'm sure he would have done the same damage with Tim around. Whatever.

And you must not have paid attention in '03 when we let Kobe go apeshit in the LA-SA series, but in case you haven't noticed we've got a ring from that year.

Amare can score 60 for all I care, as long as we got scoreboard.

Quit spinning this and go back to your hole. This was a pathetic showing for your team.

I am happy with the outcome... bottom line: winning is better than losing and you don't score bonus points for kicking the crap out of your opponent. One thing also to take from this game is that the Spurs are incapable of handling Stoudemire. In three games versus the Spurs Stoudemire has put up 37, 35, and 44 points on 44/60 shooting (73%).
Amare can average 60+ in a serie against the spurs, but they would not win 4 of 7. that's it kk thx bye

No offense but I wouldn't be complaining about the refs when you shot 11 more FT's. Other than Stoudemire the rest of the Suns team only attempted 4 FT's.... yes... the Suns bought the refs... hmm...

Actually Duncan was around for the first two games when Stoudemire put up 37 and 35.

That sure worked for you guys last year.

Spoken like a true loser.

Whatever.

don'nt get to prideful partner, alot of teams can't stop stoudemire. plus, he can score all the points he wants, the suns still don't beat the spurs in a 7 game series. one thing is for sure is that the suns have no desire to play any defense what so ever, and in the playoffs, that will catch up. score all the points you want...for now.

Hey Tempe85, welcome aboard. Maybe you introduced yourself elsewhere, but I have not exactly been paying attention tonight. You better stick around, especially for the playoffs.

He scored 37 and 35 and makes pushups when he is foul but misses the FTs and the best part the Suns LOST THE GAMES.44 points with no DUNCAN OR MANU.has 5 fouls and only win by 6 and your happy. What a DRAMA QUEEN :princess :princess

I think it's kinda funny that Pop pretty much expected to cede this game to Phoenix by not playing Tim and Manu but when he saw that they had a chance to win he was coaching his arse off. Shot himself in the foot on this one.

champs, we might as well not argue with the man. plus, i don't respect anyone who has 10 posts and comes in here makes his point about the suns winning. its childish.

I haven't exactly introduced myself... I'm a Suns fan that's evident but I'm by far not a Spurs hater. David Robinson is one of my favorite players of all time... and I know he doesn't play anymore but I've always respected the San Antonio franchise because of his influence. I'm sorry if anyone has taken offense to what I've said in this thread... I'm just defending my team a little bit and giving my opinion on the game... You have a great team and it'll take an amazing effort by the Suns to take you down this year but I think it's not impossible... no one has been crowned champions just yet.

I might show up every now and then... but now that the Suns series is over versus the Spurs and after I lost $500 bucks on betting that the Suns would score over 110 points today (3 off Damn! haha) I'll probably be more of a lurker.

By the way... is it me or does this sites Smilies kick ass? :smokin :drunk

Spurs seem to have gotten hella good a picking backup PGs:

Speedy, Hart, Wilkes and Beno.

Now if we could just hang on to one.

I haven't seen anything out of line (not that I've been reading too closely).

This place is a bitch after a close loss. I know cause I'm usually one of them.

Tonight, I guess was a moral victory cause it just doesn't have the same sting.

Only thing that pissed me off was having to listen to Bender and Majerle.

Seriously, I doubt there's very many All-Star big men out there that couldn't hit 40 going against Horry and Tmass all game, it's not exactly something I'd be bragging about.

Q-Rich really opens things up for the Suns. He's been shooting 44% from the 3 for the past month on 9.3 3Pt Attempts per game. I'm not saying that his impact is anything like Manu and Tim but you have to take that into account too. The Suns weren't at full strength either, the last game the Suns and Spurs faced each other they were both at full strength and it went into OT.

In the end the Suns won... and you can argue all you want about moral victories but a win is better than a loss no matter which way you cut it.

Yeah right ... listen, the kindes tthing I can say about Q is that he's the 5th best player on your team.. and you seem to have forgotten what Q did in the previous 2 games vs SA...

@ SA, Q had 0-7 FGs, 0-4 3 pt FGs, 2 pts in 34 mins
@Phx, Q had 5-18 Fgs, 1-7 3 pt FGs, 11 pts in 50 mins

Kinda lucky for you that he didn't play, huh?

I love Thunder Dan... but you're right he's hardly unbiased and that doesn't make for very good listening for fans of the other team (for example if you're a non Duke fan and you've ever watched a Duke game with Dickie V announcing.... *shudders*). Anyways...

I saw the game against Portland where Q sat.

It seemed their offense actually flowed better with Jim Jackson taking high percentage shots rather than Q jacking up the first thing he got his hands on.

Q will have his hot nights, but personally, I think Jim J. makes them a better team.

Ah come on, keep hanging out here. You are already likable;T-Wolve's fans have set the bar very low.

Speaking solely for myself, there's a lot to like about the Suns, except for that little childish push-up episode. There's not a Spurs fan here who does not like Marion, Joe or Nash (except for the hair, of course).

By the way if anyone was really wondering what happened to Richardson this is what the ESPN recap had to say:

Phoenix lost swingman Quentin RIchardson for the game when BRent Barry, who started in place of Ginobili, kneed him in the chin on a charge with 5:31 left in the first quarter.

I guess Barry did do something positive! (for the Spurs at least) :hat

Any GM with half a brain (and that includes Isaiah), would pick JJ over Q any day of the week and twice on Sundays

Spurs played tough but you people are nuts if you think the Spurs got jobbed by the refs.

I saw some missed calls both ways. That flagrant on McCarty was ridiculous and stinking blind Joey Crawford took a basket away from Marion.

Good game but a disappointing effort by the Suns.

The Suns should have been up 20 but they started letting Parker get to the basket again. They did a better job of making him shoot outside in the second.

The Suns are fun team to watch in the regular season but they have a lot of work to do.

Take care Spurs fans.

And to the fans that were saying they wish the Suns were injured and would die, this is for you. :flipoff

I think he took a teammate's knee to the head when Barry knocked him down.

I've got no problem with the Suns fans around here. They aren't trolling and they seem to know the score. The Suns have little to be proud of in that game. They didn't have Q but that's small potatoes compared to Tim and Manu. Not to mention that Pop didn't play Rasho late in the game, played TMass over Horry and even played our 3rd string pg Wilks as an experiment down the stretch. Even so we gave away a critical missed dunk by TMass and a layup by Brown in the waning minutes that could have tied the game. All this on a back-to-back too. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Until the Suns learn to play anything resembling defense, they are not going to be a threat in the postseason. This game actually had me feeling they are weaker competition than I thought previously thought. I like the Suns team except for Amare. He seems pretty arrogant and comes off as very childish. He's got some growing up to do. Hopefully nothing a couple more postseason exits won't cure.

How can Marjele embarrass himself like that? He doesn't care that Tim and Manu haven't played? Please. He's doing a poor job of convincing himself that this is anything other than a huge letdown for the Suns. They're a much weaker team than I thought after seeing their performance tonight.

If that's what the Spurs think come the playoffs then they're screwed.
