That's what happens when the tv schedules are made before the season starts. It's hard to predict which teams will suck harder than anyone could have expected or when injuries will happen.

Shaq is in the game which means no bullshit lane freebies for the Lakers.

The Suns are doing a great job so far...I like the new "7 seconds or Shaq" rule...Makes Phoenix a possible real Western Conference threat again.

Anyhow, no need for anyone to trash talk against the Lakers in this thread. They were expected to start losing some more games and they are. With today's loss #12, that will pretty much seal the hope of getting 70 wins for the Lakers...We can't have a cast of Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom on a 70-win team anyway, so that will be good for the league.

Phoenix is just going out there and playing their game and not making bullshit mistakes..if the rest of the league would do that vs. the Lakers, you'd see that the Lakers are little more than a 55-win team.

Again, no trash talking...it is what it is, Phoenix going out there and playing their game and winning against a team they should be winning against.

Laker bench is flat out awful right now.

Nobody can score outside of Farmar.

Our supposed best 3pt shooter Vujacic simply doesn't have confidence in himself right now. It's quite scary actually, the guy could be on the verge of returning to the kind of player he was before last season. The Machine is broken.

Ariza is simply not playing to his strengths. He seems to be content to jack up 3's when those should be his last resort offensively. He needs to attack the basket with aggression and draw fouls. That's what he's good at.

Quite frankly you can pinpoint the recent struggles of the Laker team to the poor production of the bench.

The Lakers simply didn't play to their strengths today and deserved to lose. Good job PHX, you finally won one against the Lakeshow.

I could say the refs were BS again today, but ultimately that didn't decide the game. It was poor offensive execution that did the Lakers in yet again. When LO goes down with early foul trouble the team is limited to playing Kobe basketball, which we all know is a losing proposition in the long run.

Phil Jackson needs to get back to the drawing board. I certainly did not see any triangle offense run tonight. Just a lot of ISO sets for Kobe. Reminded me of '06 all over again.

Kobe will go down as one of the top 5 greatest scorers, but he will never be remembered as a great leader because he never learned how to follow.

Yeah, Kobe was a loner back then (maybe still is); when asked why he wouldn't go out with his teammates, he answer was: " why would I do that? there is no reason "

Magic gave him perfect advice, thats if you want to lead men. You have to be one of the guys if want to lead them. Not only that, Kobe faked this squeeky clean image before the rape case, but if he had gone out and publicly chased a few skirts, and got his hands dirty a little bit, no one would judge him.

Kobe tried to pretend he was morally better than everyone by getting married and pretending ot be loyal. Magic, Shaq, and even Jordan were married, and when they got caught doing dirt, people could relate and understand. People dont understand perfect people.

Then how do you explain Tim Duncan leading his team to 4 Championships?
