There were rumors around the trading deadline last month that the Kings made the Knicks an offer for Nate Robinson, but other teams reportedly made a play for the guard as well.

The Lakers and Thunder also called the Knicks about Robinson, according to league sources.

Apparently New York isn't as desperate as Memphis.

If he's your backup PG, I think you'd be in damn good shape. Lakers play fast too...

Yeah the lakers second unit plays a fast tempo offense, they dont run the triangle, i wish the lakers would have offered Sasha for Nate, Sasha is bricking everthing, atleast Nate can take it to the Hole

Nate would have been awesome here. Second unit of Farmar, Nate, Ariza, Powell, and Odom(Before Drew got hurt)

They just need to throw Sasha in the Atlantic.

Cuz Mitch makes good moves, like for example, Kwame for Gasol, or Cook and Evans for Ariza, and even Vlad Rad for Morrison and Brown

And other teams had a reason to do those trades, the Knicks have no reason whatsoever to trade Robinson for Sasha Eurobitch.

You never Know, Mike D'Antoni and Phil Jackson are really close friends :lol

Here are a few reasons that trade is the dumbest idea ever:

1) It doesn't work financially

2) Vujabrick's contract runs through 2011, I'd love to hear why a team which has been making cap clearing moves for 2010 all season would randomly make a move to compromise cap room.

3) Robinson is way better than Vujabrick.

4) Did I mention it doesn't work numbers wise?

5) Did I mention no one in their right mind would consider Vujabrick half as good as Robinson?

I still don't understand what that whole timeout argument was about.

I hear it was gonna be for Farmar. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

because the lakers were up by like a bunch and there were only like 3 or 4 minutes left i dont remember, Mike wanted to game to finish already and just the the players play out the clock and Phil chooses to call a time out, i tought it was disrespecting the Suns when phil did that so i understood why Mike got upset

That makes a little more sense but I still don't think NY would be dumb enough to do that.

Another person I get annoyed by, Farmar. There are so many UCLA fans on the Laker forums, they defend anything he does or doesn't(Like defense, he doesn't play that)

He's overrated. I lol whenever I hear someone say he should start over Fisher.

Nate would have been a bust under Jackson's system. He's a guy that needs the ball in his hands and doesn't have a reliable jumper. Vujacic is a 100 times a better fit for LA than Robinson.

Yeah, I love Sasha here! I love watching him brick ALL his shots, cry about every call, and talk about his headbands! I love how he played so well during his contract year!
