It's the Stro Show in Phoenix!

I don't have an official link yet, but it's pretty much a done deal.

This move may put the Suns over the hump.

But seriously though, Stromile Swift has next to no basketball IQ and plays spotty D. I guess the Suns are hoping he can give Shaq some relief so the Big Cactus doesn't have to play 35 minutes a night.

Stro Swift makes it so the Suns rival the '96 Bulls in dominance.

I was kidding, of course.

Ideally, Swift will fit right into the run and gun offense, get the crowd excited with a dunk or two every night, and not make too many mistakes. Our bench needs a little bit of size, and he provides that.

Goran "White Magic" Dragic dishing it off to Stro will make people remember Stockton dishing it off to Malone.

If that's supposed to be making fun of my '96 Bulls post, stop taking stuff so serious.

It's a good pick-up, assuming Gooden is going to SA.

This immediately makes the Suns better than San Antonio in a best of 7

I bet San Antonio is worried now

If the Suns are about 7 seconds and shoot what kind of B-Ball IQ does one need? The Suns are one of the only teams that Swift might actually work out.

Wow the suns bench is killa with Tragic, Stro, Louis and Robin.

That bench makes the 2004-05 Suns bench look like a all-star team

Suns Looking To Sign Stromile Swift
Mar 02, 2009 5:00 PM EST
The Suns are targeting Stromile Swift, who was waived by the Nets on Sunday night.

Swift missed six weeks of action with New Jersey to be with his ailing mother earlier this season, who passed away on Jan. 27.

Phoenix would give Swift playing time with Amare Stoudemire expected to miss the season with an eye injury.

Remember when T-Mac said he was gonna make this guy an all-star?

He's pretty damn athletic, and that's about it, but I guess when the main retard gets injured for the rest of the season, its' smart to bring in another one.

Gay + Swift for Battier

we did not give up Gay for Battier, we gave up our draft rights for the 8th overall selection in 2006 which was Gay at the request of Memphis to get the deal done. Rox did NOT want GAY.

THE STO SHOW!

Too bad he never became the dominant player he should be. But you gotta love those dunks. Should be nice with the running Suns and be on the receiving end of Nash's passes.

It's an LSU reunion. I remember Shaq hypin' Stro to win the dunk contest a long time ago. Those LSU big men stick together.

Gay has the potential to be everything Tmac never was.

I doubt anyone who's ever played at LSU would piss on Big Baby to put out the flames.

OK so what's the difference exactly? The Suns did NOT want Rondo or Fernandez but that doesn't change the fact they gave them both away for nothing.

The Gay trade wasn't terrible because you can never have enough Battier's on your team, but Houston did basically trade Gay.
