How bad does that suck?
From 4th overall pick, to starter on a Finals team...to backing up Matt freaking Bonner.

I'm sure that Pop will play some more with the line-ups depeding on the matchup. We may seem Gooden start sometime this yr or down the road and into the playoffs. It just depends on what Pop thinks is best for this team. So we may see Bonner start some nights, Gooden some nights, or even Oberto or Thomas. We just never know.

what makes gooden so great? when the cavs made it to the finals their team sucked, so its not even a big deal that he was a starter on a finals team. and also who gives a shit about him being #4 overall pick? in 2002 jay williams was picked 2nd and mike dunleavy 3rd.

Spurs Fans are always like this...it's like you get the feeling if they asked for a quarter and someone threw it into a full spitoon...they'd stick their hands into the spitoon to get it.

^^^ Guess who'd dive to the front of the crowd to try to get his hand into the spitoon first?
Would probably throw down and walk on the the little kids trying to stick their little hands into the spitoon while he was doing it.
And no...Gooden will be the next.

Most likely mouse. You would probably smoke pole for a quarter though.

When you have a chance to get a quarter, you do it. Spitoon or not. No questions asked.

Gooden has to pass the physically if he does not he is not going to be a spur
if he is not healthy he is not going to play
would you give gooden a ring if he plays 0 minutes in playoffs and spurs win it all?

The fans are just here for the ride and support:flag:

I do as well.
He either misunderstood me, or is overly sensitive.

Mike Dunleavy is averaging 15 pts a game and Jay Williams had his career cut short due to a tragic non-Basketball injury. What is your point?

Manu

The way Kurt has been playing in the minutes given, I'd like to see him start alongside Duncan.
Although starting Gooden and then having KT and Bonner off the bench gives us some flexibility...

Gooden can be good against the other teams 2nd best post defender. If he's in the starting lineup he can do that, and clean up on the boards.
But if you bring him off the bench I think that'll hurt him. He's not a stud, but he can be serviceable.
