Finley started off well on Howard. He went off when Finley went to the bench and then it didn't matter who guarded him.

Gotta blame Pop for putting Finley on Dirk though. There's no chance there but who else was going to guard him? You don't want Duncan chasing him around out there, Bonner was in foul trouble, and Thomas was barely ok. You could try Bowen but Pop thought it best to use him on Terry.

As for Finley's offense tonight? It was pretty bad but he's been shooting the ball well and he's a bigger threat than Hairston, Hill, Bowen, or Udoka.

Not bad considering he's strictly a jump shooter. They just didn't fall tonight. I have to wonder if anyone would have bitched about his defense if Pop hadn't put him on Dirk down the stretch.
