we fuck up every opportunity we get. we could easily be tied for 5th right now, if it weren't for the thunder debacle and stepping up tonight.

Thunder debacle
Spurs No Manu or Duncan
@ home vs. Boston collapse
Blowning a 10 point lead very late @ home against the Magic back in Nov.

Those are 4 wins the mavs should have taken but this team are mental midgets and cant get the job down. 4 more wins and this team is tied for 2nd:bang

Western Conference is a clusterfuck this year. It's gonna be another one of those years where seating isn't decided until the last days of the season.

2-9 you mean, Lakers wrapped up the 1st seed 1 week into the season. Really.

But it's not that big a cluster fuck right now.

Mavs/Jazz/Suns I feel will battle for 7-8-9. I throw in the Jazz because they're apoor road team and have few home games left.

Spurs will get 2nd. I just look at their schedule and I see no way they drop more than 5-6 games.

leaving 3-6 to Nuggets/Blazers/Hornets/Rockets

Jazz are a lock for the playoffs..yes they struggled on the road but they were playing without numerous players until a few weeks ago. since everyone is back healthy the jazz havent lost a road game...our beloved Mavs and Suns will battle for the 8th seed

True but they've only had 2 roadies since ASB. One against the Jeffersonless T-Pups and one against the Jacksonles Warriors.

Not saying they'll slip, but I wouldn't lock them in as a Top 4-5 seed just yet.

They got a 5 game Eastern road trip coming up and still a slew of roadies v NOLA, Dallas, San An, Los Angeles, Portland, and Denver.

It's amazing how the Spurs have had the injuries they've had, and additions to the team yet still truck good records and lead the division. Can't help but to wonder with the addition of Gooden (given the fact he plays well) and Manu coming back strong if we can't go 18-4 in our last 22.
