FWIW I spoke to Peter Holt tonight after the game, I told him I was looking forward to seeing Drew play. He said he won't be playing Sunday, but possibly Tuesday. I'm not sure how in the loop he is on Pop's decisions, just thought it was interesting.

Interesting. You might want to change the title because it's misleading in that it says "Gooden debut Tuesday" when in fact he said "possibly" Tuesday.

I have heard Holt is a decent guy. Everyone that has met him has said nothing but good things. I have not met him personally, but he gets good reviews from most.

I think Dennis Rodman started this trend when we traded him to the Bulls. As for #s over 50, 55 is usually the highest that you'll see on a jersey.

princess pimple aside, it's not hard to imagine Holt being appraised of the team's personnel decisions. i doubt he has much say other than the amount he puts on the check, though.
