They've won 6 in a row, 9 of their last 13 and are a game behind Chicago for the 8th seed. Where is BobcatsDynasty to celebrate his team getting a step closer to league domination?

Yes they will. Ever since Gerald Wallace returned from Bynum's cheapshot, the team has gone on a big winning streak. They would probably have a nice lead in the standings at this point if it wasn't for Wallace getting injured from Bynum's dirty play. Basically a healthy Bobcat team will make the playoffs.

Nope, I see them choking final 10 games.

Diaw is a nice player when he's motivated.

Better question, does their six game win steak (Franchise record) end in San Antonio (Their next game I believe)??

I'd have to give the edge to the Spurs with it being a home game for them, but the Bobcats put up a good fight against them last time they played. Could be a fun game to watch.

They're probably not playoff material, although they are much improved since their trades.
Diaw has been very handy.

The Bell-Diaw for J-Rich trade could probably be the second most significant trade for the season, behind the Billups for AI swap.

Bobcats: Okafor, Diaw, Wallace, Bell, Felton

Add a bench to Radmanovic and DJ Augustin and you've got yourself a solid team.

If Milwaukee and Chicago have injuries to their key players I see Charlotte in the playoffs, and could shock Boston if the C's are the 1st seed. Both have been close the last 2 years.

i say the spurs tank the game.....

didnt the bobcats cause the celtics some trouble last season only losing to the celtics on last second plays....

The first thing I thought after the Celts beat the Cavs to close in on the #1 seed is the emergence of the Bobcats. They really give them big time troubles. It would be a much more competitive series than against Chicago, Milwaukee and probably Indiana.

Can Larry Brown direct his sixth different team to the playoffs in his first season there? (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=PERDiem-090304)

Look at Larry Brown in his first year at a new stop and you'll notice one incredibly strong trend: His teams stutter and stammer for half the season, and then get scorching hot in the final two months:

• In Detroit, his first team started 34-24, then finished 20-4 and won the NBA title.

• In Philadelphia, his first team started 15-33, finished 16-18 and was in the playoffs a season later.

• With the Clippers, he took over a 22-25 team at midseason, finished 25-13 and nearly shocked Utah in the first round of the playoffs.

• In Indiana, his first Pacers team started 16-23, finished 31-12 and went to the Eastern Conference finals.

• In New Jersey, his first Nets team also started 16-23, then finished 28-15 to make the playoffs.

They will make the playoffs. They haven't been that great since coming into the league, but I've been pulling for them to succeed. In fact, I want Pop to tank the game against the Bobcats. That's how badly I want them to make the playoffs.

J-Rich and Jared Dudley.
Don't forget this guy- bobcats fans apparently loved him.

I hope they will ! Diaw and Bell are very good addtion, Diaw is playing well when he is coached by a clever coach. Now that Brown will help the French NT, gold medal here we come. :)

I liked Diaw when he was motivated. The last couple years he just didn't have it. It's ironic after trading him Amare goes down because this is when Pho could really use him and the situation is ideal with Porter out. I like Jrich though because he gives them needed outside shooting and firepower, but without Amare, they now have a huge hole down low with only shaq for going inside.

This offseason should be very interesting.

i don't follow the suns that much, but it seemed that the return of amare didn't help diaw's game. he's a playmaker and needs to have the ball in his hands almost as much as his pg to be effective.
