Don't forget.

Don't want you all to be late for Church in the morning.

I am so glad my kid has Spring Break this week. It is so hard adjusting and trying to get up in the morning. I hate that they keep moving it earlier and earlier in the year.

So what time is it really?

Dr. Gonzo

Is it 1:50 right now or is it supposed to be 12:50 but it jumped an hour?

Dr. Gonzo

Or is it really 1:50 but will be 3:00 in 10 minutes?

Mrs. ASF dragged me to Confessions Of A Shopaholic last night, so I really lost 2 and a half hours...

Even when the clocks get set back, you don't gain any extra drinking time at the bar, so what's the point?

Huh?

On a normal Saturday night the bars shut down at 2 am, but when the clocks get set back it becomes 1 am at 2 am, thereby allowing an extra hour of drinking time.

Sounds like an extra hour to me, anyways...

True, but the bars probably do not reset their clocks until after they have closed for the night.

TABC probably prohibits them staying open the extra hour.

I can't confirm the spring forward bar alcohol sales as losing an hour, but I'm pretty certain I have been in bars during fall back night and they took full advantage of the extra hour of selling booze.

+1

I've only been in one bar that didn't sell for the extra hour and that was a small neighborhood bar where the owner just didn't feel like sticking around.
