Dallas mavericks demolished the Washington Wizards last night 119-103, the result was more than common but the sequences were really beyond your expectations…

Antonie Wright scored the first two points of that game to make a good opening for us, but Jamison answered him with a hooker short afterwards. Amazingly Erick Dampier made a Alley Oop to make the game 4-2 with 11:10 on board, assisted by Wright who made the game’s first field goal short before. Jamison missed a jumper in the next round, George grabbed that defensive rebound to start the next round at our offensive end. Dirk missed a jumper in that round but Erick Dampier got the offensive rebound and smartly passed the ball to dirk to assist him scoring two points with a jumper for our team. Afterwards, Butler, Dirk and Mike James each got two points sequently to make the game 6-8 with 9:30 to go in the 1st quarter, mavs leading by 2. After Wright achieved a driving jumper, our guys in blue started to limp in offense and let the wizards turn around the score-board to 15-10 with 6min on board. With Dirk’s assist, Wright made his own score stat to 7 points with a three pointer to make the game 13-15, but mavs were still down by 2 points. Wizards kept a leading gap over us until the clock counted to 1:35 when Terry tied the game at 19 with a driving lay-up. In addition to his former driving lay-up, terry also had got a shot at the line and he made it to finish his 2+1, mavs up 20-19 with 1:35 on board. However, our offense sucked again during the following minutes while our defense sucked even worse to let the wizards score 7 points in a row during that period. At the end of the first quarter, mavericks were down by 6 points, 26-20.

Singleton got our first two points of the 2nd quarter with two free throws but young reported with a point shot in the next round. Terry missed his lay-up in our next offensive round and we failed to grab the offensive rebound. In their next offensive round, Blatche broadened the leading gap to 9 points with a jumper with 9:39 to go in the 2nd quarter. With a 22-31 down score board, our mavs entered the regular timeout which was called right after blatche’s jumper. Dirk and McGee each got two points respectively right after the timeout. Wizards pushed Dirk to the line with a defensive 3s violation in our next offensive round and Bare made a jumper to finish that offensive round perfectly with 3 points. But McGee’s slam dunk and blatche’s jumper re-made the gap to ten points with 7:44 on board, 37-27 mavs down by ten. In the next two rounds, Devean George and Blatche each got a three pointer to make the game 40-30 at 7:04. Our mavs in white did fight back violently after this deuce, Dirk, Bass and Terry got 6 points in a row for our team to shorten the gap to only 4 points with 5:02 to go in the 2nd quarter. But the wizards outscored us 2pts in the following 2 minutes till an official time out called at 2:01. Butler and Mike James got 5 points during the rest of this quarter while our mavs scored 9 to tie the game at 51 by the end of the first half. 51-51 tied during the half-game break.

Butler’s jumper opened the second half but George hit his second 3pt shot last night to turn around the game at 54-53. Mike James answered George with a 3 pointer and regained a two-point leading gap over us. Dirk filled that gap a couple of seconds later with a jumper, afterwards Wright, Dirk and Dampier made 5 points in the next several minutes to take control of the game even before the fourth quarter started. Although wizards still refused to give up the game and fought hard to make the gap as short as possible, but they’re still too weak to make any threat to our beloved mavs. Finally our beloved mavs won that game, 119-103.

-------------------------------
Dirk Nowitzki

41:13 minutes,34 points,nine rebounds,seven assists, two blocks
13-for-24 from the field, 8-for-8 at the line, 0-1 on three-pointers, two steals

Dirk still was the most consistent scorer last night, that’s why he got so much trust from fans and coaches that he played 41:13 which was the longest on our team. On the defensive end Dirk also played a brilliant job as well, which can be clearly reflected by his two blocks and 9 rebounds.
-------------------------------
Jason Kidd
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/2625.jpg

38:11minutes,4 points,11 assists,three rebounds,two turnovers
2-for-8 from the field, 0-2 on three-pointers

Kidd didn’t play pretty good offensively last night, for start he sucked at shooting which has never been his advantage. However, no one can underestimate the effects kidd has been making on our team. For analog, Kidd is just like the commander in chief of our team. he doesn’t need to score himself but all the other guys in blue need him to score.
-------------------------------
Jason Terry

http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3333.jpg

34:23 minutes,33 points,four rebound,three assists
11-for-20 from the field, 5-for-10 on three-pointers, 6-6 at the line

After recovering from the injury in his finger, Terry didn’t show any decrease due to the injury. Instead, terry played even more perfectly than he did before he got injuried. Terry played a great job in assisting in the game vs. spurs, but Jet had more interest in attacking himself last night. With 5 three-pointers and 6 free throws made and 6 field goals, Jet got 33 points which are the second highest on our team.
-------------------------------

Erick Dampier
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3117.jpg

20:38minutes,four points,three rebounds, oneblock,
2-for-2 from the field, 0-for-2 at the line

Although Dampier missed both of his two shots at the line, he was still perfect at field shootings. But the pity was that Dampier only made two field shots throughout the game and only played 20:38 due to his incompetent.
-------------------------------
Antonie Wright
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3941.jpg

31:28minutes,16 points,threeassist,4 steal
7-for-10from the field, 1-4at the line,1-2 on three-pointers

Ignoring his bad performances at the line, Wright played pretty good on both ends last night. Offensively he hit 7 of his total 10 shots including 1-2 on three pointers, and his three assists were still not ignorable. At the defensive end Wright also played a great job with 4 steals.

-------------------------------
Brandon Bass
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3959.jpg

23:23minutes,13 points, 3-for-4from the field,7-for-8 at the line, fiverebound, one assist, two blocks

Dirk played pretty long last night, but that didn’t make bass’s time too short, at least Bass played very efficiently during his limited game time and showed his value. Bass only missed one shot from the field, aggressively Bass got 8 shots at the line last night though he lost one of them as well.
-------------------------------
Juan Jose Barea
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/4203.jpg

09:49minutes,4 points,2-4 from the field, one assist

As a point guard, especially as Kidd’s backup, Barea really needs some work to upgrade his assisting skills. For most times, Barea played more like a SG but not a PG. Sometimes our Barea plays even more like a SG than Jet and even Wright. So there’s no wonder his time is always limited to 10 minutes though his shooting plays are pretty good for an undersized PG like him.
-------------------------------
James Singleton
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/4055.jpg
10:46 minutes,1-for-3 from the field,3-for-3 attheline,fivepoints,threebounds

It’s really hard to say what role singleton is on our team… Singleton used to the our bench warmer whose major work was just to eat the garbage time, but Singleton had proved that he deserved some minutes in the regular time. Singleton is too undersized to play as a traditional center, even if we have to play an undersized guy to play at 5 we still would rather play Bass who has more muscle. But Singleton has used his hard word to earn a role on our team. Last night he played pretty consistently though not very brilliant.

-------------------------------
Devean George
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3346.jpg
26:12 minutes 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 2-for-4 from the field, 2-for-2 on three-pointers

Devean George started for our team and played a decent game last night, especially his remarkable performances at the 3 point line. But it seems that he plays decent only when facing not-so-decent teams, once face some scrub teams like Lakers which are his former host he usually sucks. Devean is still capable to play some good game temporarily but he isn’t what we need to make some breakthroughs in the post season. We need a decent center and Donnie almost got one before the deadline, but it’s rumored that the trade proposal was aborted again by George’s “Bird rights”.
-------------------------------
Gerald Green
http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/.e1d/img/4.0/global/basketball/nba/players/3944.jpg
03:57 minutes

A minimum contract surely can not reflect the real value of a former champion of “slam dunk contest”, but his contributions to our team really don’t deserve more that a LLE. While Jeff Green has been playing great games in OKC, Gerald Green is still struggling to earn some minutes in the garbage time. His “blowing candles” dunk was so impressive that we still remember that contest clearly as if it just happened last night. But his creativity hasn’t earned him any trust from the coach and any minutes other than garbage ones.
