Anyone else going to this game? The wifey let me get tickets, so we'll be in section 111, row 12. They look like awesome seats, and the last time I went to a Spurs game was when people from San Antonio came over at the end of the '06 season!

ha i rember that game like half the crowd was spurs fans

but i wanted to go to this game but no one i knew wanted to go

i went to the one earlier this year in houston with my dad and sister but we lost

but theres alot of spurs fans when you go

Bunch of bandwagoners!:p:Anyways, I like the Spurs as my favorite team when they're not playing the Rockets. I'm sure it will be a good game though.:toast

Of course they exist...in the record books. They're the first Texas team to win an NBA title and still the only team in the state to win back2back.

pretty much they were they showed the baseline bums and some other fans that you see at regulars at spurs games here. When i went earlier in the year about 1 out of every 5 people were spurs fans. I got the video from that 2006 game but dont know how to put it up.

why are u getting mad that the only fans from houston that comes to spurs game are those red rowdies guys..but spurs fans come all over houston and i lived in houston from 2002-2006 before i came to college here in san antonio

Yah, I was hoping we'd make it an annual thing - but everyone punked out on me and left me to my lonesome. Now I'm forced to take a Mavs fan with me!

This is a key game not because the Rockets are a team that the Spurs need to beat to get ready for the playoffs, etc. The Rockets are a team that the Spurs can usually go out and expect to beat...it's a team we're supposed to beat, but I think this year the Rockets are coming out being cocky and acting like the Spurs are a team they should be beating. They are acting like they can get any shot they want against us. They had a couple of scrubs named Luther Head and Rafer Alston shooting bullshit shots on us...12-for-21 combined and there was no way the Spurs should have allowed that shit. Then they have Shane Battier going 7-for-11 from the floor against us...Head and Alston both saw where their BS got them: off the team. They want to come out and beat us 104-83? This is personal. I hate the Rockets and I hope we beat their ass this week and the next meeting. 99% of the time I have nothing personal against anyone in the NBA. But I don't like Houston and I am looking forward to them getting swept in the first round.

I'll be there. Me and my dad are gonna make the drive over to Houston for this one. My seats probably aren't that great since there in the 400 section but i'm excited just to be there since i've hardly ever seen the Spurs play on the road.

Best texas team (for at least this year) will go farther in the playoffs. I think that now mcgrady is gone, there isn't the "t-mac hasn't gotten out of the first round in his career" thing clouding the team, now they should go out and play team ball in playoffs

We should make the pilgrimage annual but alternate cities each year. You and the Mavs fan ( shudder :lol) come here and then a group of us goes to Houston. :)

We've been trying to go to the games, but it seems when we do plan to come into SA, the games are on a Friday or LATE Sunday. I actually wouldn't mind doing just a GTG when we come into town though.

You can get some nosebleeds on craigslist or stubhub for around $45
