...a lineup of Parker, Ginobili, Mason, Bowen, and Hill? Would going small like that be a viable option to mix things up if the Spurs were struggling in a playoff game?

I don't think that using that line-up would be a good idea but I would love to see a Parker, Hill, Mason, Ginobili, Duncan line-up some time.

That lineup can't rebound and defend the low post.

Yeah, it's pretty much the 2006-2007 Warriors, isn't it??? :lol

Wait till Pop starts resting for the play offs though, you may get your wish.

Only if the Spurs were up against the Warriors in the playoffs. Or the Suns, and Shaq was glued to the bench like on Sunday.

And we would still get blasted on the glass.

great idea...that way our real lineup of

pg:timmy
sg:bonner
sf:gooden
pf:kurt
c:fab

that line up is way way to small
you'd have Bowen at C and Mason at PF
little stupid

yah, that's kinda crazy, this spurs team is built on defense and i don't know how a 6'7 bowen is supposed to defend a 7' gasol or 6'11 okur or 7' oden (barring he's healthy for the playoffs)

I'm sure we will a lot of different variations in this years playoff line-up but it wil be interesting to see what Pop's crunch time lineup will be.

PG- Parker
Sg- Ginobili
Sf- Bowen
Pf- Tim Duncan
C- Drew Gooden or Matt Bonner

or

Pg- Tony Parker
Sg- Roger Mason or Manu Ginobili
Sf- Manu Ginobili or Bruce Bowen
Pf- Tim Duncan
C- Drew Gooden or Kurt Thomas

Well in 2k9, when you set the substitution to auto, the line up in the fourth quarter. (I don't have Hill)

Parker
Ginobili
Finley
Bowen
Duncan.

And there goes my fourth quarter lead.

Anyone remember when Pop went micro-ball in Denver the game he let TP/TD/Manu rest? Yeah that was a disaster.
